I like to think of myself as an experienced professional, solutions-oriented, lifelong learner. You're probably thinking that was a mouthful, and yes it absolutely was. However, so is my job experience and who I am personally. The best way for me to tell you is to K.I.S.S (Keep It Short and Sweet) it; however, who I am and what I can do is not short. I will start off and say that I am always striving to be a better version of myself and always trying to solve issues that are easy to fix but seemingly no one knows how to solve them. I went into chemistry because I wanted to learn how the everyday household items work. And no, I could not use Google because in my youth it was not as well developed as it is today. If you wanted to learn something, you had to pick up a book and read it. After 8 years of learning and practicing chemistry. I learned that it was just something I liked to learn not practice. However, it has taught me more than what household chemicals do. It has taught me attention to detail; communication; always be open and always be helpful; and fix the everyday issues that no one wants to fix (take initiative). It also has taught me that more application software options are needed in chemical companies who are not heavily funded. After learning that the greatest progressive change I can contribute to the world is by creating application software that assist in solving company's problems and people problems. While holding buckets with copious amounts of sweat and tears I can say I have successfully attained my certificate in software engineering and ready to help companies provide solutions for others and be the change I want to see.
